Grand Opening of «The Perfect Harmony Art Gallery»

I recently enjoy visiting art related sims a lot. Sculptures, pictures and drawings exhibited in Second Life bear a strange touch in my opinion, but in a very positive way. It’s a double twist showing surrealistic worlds in pictures inside a virtual world, or sculptures in a virtual 3D world. It is difficult to explain, but for me it turns the ‘all is possible’ feeling into an ‘absolutely no boundaries’ feeling. Watching the objects I enter in a intended dialogue with the artist in an undefined state of being. Of…

A Blaze of Lights: «Light Thoughts 3»

Leave the trodden paths in SL and have a look at «Light Thoughts 3». No matter whether you love arts in SL, are a spiritual or non-spiritual person, feel to be in the mood for it or not, you will leave «Light Thoughts 3» with changed feelings. You don’t need much time there, but the stunning light effects, the surreal scenes will definitely do something with you, worth to experience. Calas Heavenly Wedding

I’ve been to quite some weddings in Second Life in the last three years, and I know how much effort especially brides put into the setup of the location. I alway wondered whether this is the right approach, since a wedding day should be one of the best days of your life. Wouldn’t it be much better therefore, if a bride or a groom would only have to concentrate on themselves on and for that day? I am not even sure – are there professional wedding planners around in SL…

FIRST READING OF «THE HAWKS EFFECT» FLANKED BY SUPER SWEET JANICE MILLS CONCERT

Of all the people of the evening I’d like to mention first of all Sammum Adderstein (samurai.adderstein), the owner of «The Coffee Gallery – Stuttgart». It is people like her, who make it possible, that less noticed arts find their place and an audience in Second Life. With her «.::Yucale::. The Coffee Gallery» she set the frame on Saturday May 20th for the reading of “The Hawks Effect”, a serialized SciFi novel by Real Wissdorf, Nicolas Here and Frank J. Williams III. This was the first reading of the novel, beautifully…

Art Gallery of Dea K ART

I discovered my love for picture art in SL rather late. But nowadays, I am a frequent visitor of art exhibitions and galleries. It is even fun to go there with friends or a partner, you wouldn’t believe it. Today I call quite some pictures, paintings, drawings and photographic arts my own. They decorate my home nicely and fill it with a certain spirit and atmosphere. Today I visited the art gallery of Dea K ART. I bought the “white dressed lady painting” in the end together with a more colorful from…

Materialized at the Star Trek Museum

Doing a kind of a magazine quickly gets you to the point where people start discussing who is doing what … fashion, music, sports, travel … many topics and many likings. I personally am rather the lazy type and wouldn’t mind to just see them all doing something as long as I am not asked to do something myself. But of course sooner or later you cannot avoid to contribute to it. So I thought my moment had come when I read about a ‘Star Trek Museum’ in SL. I…

The Memorial of the Battle of Alamo

The beauty with Second Life is that we can visit historical places without leaving the sofa at home. One of those places I visited during a pause with hot chocolate and dry mango stripes was Fort Alamo. I must admit, I googled the “Battle of Alamo” in wikipedia. It is strange sometimes, we know the song, we know the term, but we often don’t know the details. For Americans perhaps a well known fact, is the term „Texian Revolution“, while it is most probably completely unknown to many Europeans (like…

A Night To Remember – The Titanic Museum

I am overwhelmed!   What an experience!!  Excellent! Breath Taking! Stunning! I visited the Exhibition “A Night To Remember”. Well, I thought, it was going to be one of those things you do in (second) life, visit a museum and see whether you find something interesting in there. But this exhibition blew me away! It is stunning in so many ways, that I cannot even explain it here. I took like a million pictures and videos, but while writing this article I decided to show you only a few, so…
